The Brothers - Biker Bios

Mike Teeter lives in Langley, BC. Mike works in Student Life at Trinity Western University, coordinating the leadership development of students. In his free time, he enjoys planning fun adventures (with his wife, Juliet), reading books, enjoying the outdoors and coaching a men's soccer club team for TWU.

Mike is looking forward to seeing the ways in which God will work as this tour and the planning of it unfold. He hopes that the goals of fundraising and awareness will help to encourage those facing ALS across Canada!

Aaron Teeter  (AJ) lives in Hamilton Ontario.  He is a mechanical engineer and is currently designing process equipment used in drywall plants.  When AJ is not traveling with his work, he enjoys hiking local trails, camping in provincial parks and watching movies.

AJ is hoping that this fundraiser will provide considerable exposure for ALS while also opening the eyes of many.  Perhaps it will spur others whose lives are affected by similar diseases or other life oppressing conditions to move forward and do something to help.

Adam Teeter is living in London, Ontario. He is finishing up his Bachelor of Education in order to become a high school teacher in math and english. In Adam's spare time between school, work, getting married to Heather, and preparing for this bike trip, he enjoys swimming, reading and playing with his dog Ottis.

Adam is looking forward to being able to help share the stories of those who have been affected by ALS across the country.  While the community that he grew up in was very supportive, few people could really relate to their father's illness.  Adam shares, " it is such a comfort to know that you are not alone and to hear the stories of how others are living with it."

Amy Teeter lives in Hamilton Ontario.  Beginning this school year, Amy will be teaching Grade 1 at a local elementary school.  Most of her free time will now be used to prepare lesson plans, but she still looks forward to enjoying the beautiful outdoors, taking advantage of the time her husband is at home and just relaxing with family and friends.

Since we are all newly married and distance comes between us, Amy is hoping this trip will allow time for the three couples to work and grow together. She also hopes to use this adventure to experience the vast diversity of Canada.
